Learn About Who We Are
With today's technological advancements, people are more likely than ever before to work remotely and independently. While there are undoubtedly many benefits associated with this type of working environment, one of the unfortunate drawbacks is the loss of focus on the importance of community. Tryumph Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) was established in order to promote awareness and dedication to building stronger communities, particularly for young students. As such, Tryumph focuses on rewarding students who give back to their communities by providing them with scholarships for higher education. The Foundation seeks high school students who, despite their many other obligations, devote their time and energy to helping others. Recipients of Tryumph's scholarships demonstrate a humanitarian spirit, a solid commitment to volunteer work, and an understanding of why what they do is important.
What kick started Tryumph Foundation? And what exactly does the foundation strive to achieve?
Tryumph Foundation was the realization of two goals. Tryumph's founder, Elena LaFrance, wanted to start a business, but, at the same time, wanted to do something important that could help communities at large. Beginning Tryumph has given the team an amazing opportunity to work on a start-up while at the same time helping others. In addition to providing scholarships for students, the foundation strongly believes that Tryumph will help motivate and inspire people to give back to their communities. At its core, the foundation seeks to provide scholarships to students who, despite their many other obligations, find time to give back to their communities. While Tryumph strives to fulfill this goal, we also want to increase the awareness of the importance of community.
How did the foundation get its name?
Tryumph's name was inspired by a quote from Marvin Phillips, "The difference between try and triumph is a little 'umph.'" Our founder, Elena LaFrance, is a huge fan of the quote and it perfectly resonates with the Foundation's goals.
